The Feasts

The People’s Feasts

A number of feast days were created by the Jewish people to remember events in history. In His life on earth, Yeshua celebrated two feasts of the people; Hanukkah in John 10:22 and Purim in John 5:1. All the feasts of the people originated in the land of Israel, except Purim. Purim was created by Mordecai in ancient Persia, in Esther 9:28.

Although the feasts of the people were not established by God, they honor Him, His deliverance, His faithfulness, and His love.
